Martin squadron visits National Museum of the Air Force
Middle River, Md. – Civil Air Patrol members from Maryland Wing’s Glenn L. Martin Composite Squadron toured the National Museum of the Air Force in Dayton, Ohio.
Members spent a full day visiting the museum, which covers three large aircraft hangar sand over 360 static displays of aircraft and aviation history. (more…)

Martin Squadron cadets take flight
Middle River, Md. – Cadets from the Glenn L. Martin Composite Squadron conducted their first orientation flight from Martin State Airport.
As part of the CAP Cadet Program, all cadets aged 12-17 are given five flights in a powered aircraft and five flights in a glider. (more…)
Martin Squadron members attend Operation Welcome Home

Martin Squadron conducts rocket launch
Middle River, Md. – Glenn L. Martin Composite Squadron cadets completed the Model Rocketry Program with a model rocket launch in early December.
Maj Jeffrey Thomas, Aerospace Education Officer,coordinated the lessons and rocket building. He received a STEM (Science,Technology, Engineering and Math) grant earlier in the year to conduct the course. (more…)
